This innovative class will help parents and caregivers understand children and teens with behavioral challenges and strategies to work with them. The curriculum is adapted from the books, “The Explosive Child” and “Treating Explosive Kids”.
Topics of discussion will include: Developing a different perspective and understanding the challenging child / teen, being proactive
versus reactive, understanding empathy in problem solving, learning communication skills and developing these skills in children and teens
